If while connecting your data sources to the platform, the appropriate ad accounts do not populate as available options, there are a few things you should verify. Let's take a closer look at why this may be happening.
Initial Connection
- When connecting a data source, it is important to ensure you are using the correct profile (user login) that is usually used when signing in to the chosen ad account. If a different login is used, none of the organization's correlated ad accounts will appear.
- When prompted to grant Wavo permissions in the ad account, verify that you are selecting all the boxes to ensure no access is denied to specific accounts.
Ad Platform Permissions
- It is important to make sure that, before connecting any data source, your specific ad account permissions are correctly granted - please read "How to Verify Admin Access in Ad Platform Backends" for a step-by-step guide on how to do so.
- Does your organization account own the ad accounts? Or were they shared by another business account? If the latter, permissions may not have been high enough when the accounts were originally shared.
Technical Adjustments
- Lastly, be sure to verify that your ad account or business account has a name, as our system may have trouble interpreting it if not.
If you are still experiencing issues with accessing your ad accounts once the above has been verified, do not hesitate to contact us for further assistance.
