There are a multitude of formats in which data can be generated, captured, and stored. In order for Wavo to better analyze your data, it is ingested and formatted into tables made up of several rows. To help clarify this stage of the data preparation process, let's take a closer look at how row usage works.
1. What is a row and how are they counted?
A row is used to represent any choice of informational data. At Wavo, each of the following is counted as a row, and they are ingested on a 2 hour cycle:
-
Campaigns
-
Ad Sets
-
Ads
2. What impacts row count?
A few things can alter how your row count fluctuates:
-
The amount of data connectors you have
-
High campaign volumes
-
Quantity of ad and ad sets within campaigns
-
Backfilling historical data
3. How can I best optimize my row usage?
To ensure you are effectively using your rows, here are some things to keep in mind:
- Remove any unnecessary data sources/connectors
- Remove any unnecessary ad accounts
- If you'd like to better understand your data consumption, reach out to your account manager for additional insight.
Having optimized row usage is a great way to ensure Wavo provides you with the smoothest possible user experience!
